2019 Plant Sale

“When you can’t change the direction of the wind – adjust your sails.” – H. Jackson Brown
The weather is not our friend this spring. First, we got snowed out for our Cool Crop fundraising plant sale on April 27. Now our farmers tell us that the tomatoes, peppers and eggplants need more sunny days before they’re ready to sell. And we all know it isn’t warm enough for our hot crops right now anyway.
So, we’re going to try something different… we’re cancelling the Hot Crop Fundraiser and, for the entire month of May, when you make a purchase at City Grange, tell your cashier that you’re with Peterson Garden Project and a portion of your purchase will support our mission to recruit, educate and inspire everyone to grow their own food. This way you can shop when the weather, and your schedule, permits seven days a week and support PGP at the same time. Our Grow2Give donation match – compliments of our sponsor IMG Financial – will also be in effect for the entire month of May so we can grow even more to grow organic produce for our neighborhood food pantries.
City Grange is located at 5500 N Western and is open seven days a week. They offer free valet on weekends.
We appreciate your support during this wacky, wet and cold spring. And your, and our sponsor’s, support always to make Peterson Garden Project succeed.
Thank you.
