Can anyone participate by entering a gnome or is this only for PGP gardeners?

Hi Mary, Great question! Non-PGP gardeners are welcome to join in on the fun…we just ask that when they sign up and get their unpainted gnome, they pick a garden to associate with their gnome. The winning gnome will be displayed for a limited time at that garden…so definitely, everyone is welcome!

Hi Gina – that’s great! We’re looking forward to seeing your creative entry! The best way to get your gnome kit (and to enter the contest) is to come to the Open House on Friday, June 22, 4-7 pm at the new PGP Learning Center (4642 N. Francisco, just south of the Francisco Brown Line stop.) Bring $25 (cash preferred)and we’ll get you set up with your very own gnome kit. Decorate it and bring it to the July 4th Gnomedependance Day Celebration at Global Gardens, get all your friends to vote for your little guy, and he could very well be the 2012 PGP Gnome of the Year! Good luck!!

HI. I am a little late to the game here but I am checking to see if it is still possible to get a gnome? I can make arrangements to pick it up tonight if there are any available. Thanks so much.
